Floating in the Dead Sea, Israel

I had the opportunity of floating on the dead sea which was truly an amazing experience. You can literally read a book while floating on your back.

It was almost dusk when we got there and I only remember the sharp rocks that I'd have to step over to get in. The water was warm and being so late it was only our group to enjoy this beautiful natural wonder.

Despite the warning board to protect your eyes and mouth from water e.t.c. there is always that temptation to try and experience first hand.

Till date I can remember and laugh about that horrid salty oily taste in my mouth which seemed to last for hours.
